Oooh, a dog's life...

my philosophy summed up... work hard. play hard. eat harder.

Since you are here, you're probably looking to learn who Knine22 is. As most of my online handles are knine22, sometimes they've already been taken when I get to sign up and I create an alternative. Sooo, it's not always me and I am not responsible for the absurdities other knine's have typed online.

"But why knine?", you ask.

It started long ago in the age of tele-type chat rooms. Picture this! It was 1995 and the internet was barely beginning to ooze into private residences. As i was signing up on the chat hotspot, The TeleCafe, i needed an alias. i thought for a minute of what i really like and identify with. Somehow, i felt the permanency of this seemly huge decision. Canine was taken and numerals were not allowed so i tried KNINE. it was accepted and... all nerdy and quirky, 16-year old, dork of me loved it. A lifetime later, i've come to learn that i am very much canine in personality. i can be loyal to a flaw. i can entertain myself in an empty quiet room. i like a good pat on the back and scratch of my head. i enjoy the feel of rushing wind in a doorless jeep. i'd rather be outdoors than in. i love full-moon rise. i'm not a picky eater. i eat left-overs, either straight off your plate or after a week in the fridge. i can't sing.

Otherwise, in sort sum, i am a Texan - born and raised in the west town of El Paso, which borders the Mexican Cuidad Juarez. I studied graphic design at the Art Institute of Houston and i currently live in Denver, Colorado. Below are snap shots of me and of my collection of US states I’ve driven across. The state line photos are not complete, as I’ve crossed about twenty-four state lines, but most likely, the sign was too inaccessible on the road i was on at the time   :\

In highschool, i found my love, photography. We were introduced and we both started groovin'... (Yes, a terrible Tom Petty reference.) Photography is just a hobby and a pass-time, though I had considered studying it and going pro (but that's my big sis' path and a great one if i were to follow her shadow). These days, I combine my photography time mostly with my addiction to travel and 4x4 off-road Jeepin'.

As for my other recreations... there's um... chasing my tail, chasing cats, chasing cyclists, chasing cars, chasing food, chasing hydrants, chasing chases, napping (between chases,) snacking (while chasing,) and stuff, other dog-like stuff. When i'm not freelancing with graphic or photography gigs, or traveling as far as my spare pennies can get me, I just might be at the local watering hole rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. then again, i coud be at the house just enjoying a classic black-and-white flick.
